Good quality, early 20th Century honey oak barograph; the bevelled glass hood protecting chart drum, the eight-day movement with cylinder escapement; seven-capsule barometer stack and unusual engraved silvered brass ancillary dial. Twin compartment mahogany-lined chart drawer beneath. Ivory makers’ plaque.

An eminent firm of meteorological instrument makers of the latter 19th and well into the 20th Centuries, operating from premises in Deansgate, Manchester.
