Fine, early 19th Century
inlaid mahogany Wheel Barometer, with 'break-arch'
pediment over case, with cross-grained sides,
strung in ebony and boxwood, inlaid with conch
shell and flower-head paterae, and inset with
well engraved silvered brass Fahrenheit thermometer
and 8-inch diameter barometer dial, signed by
the maker.

An accomplished barometer
maker, Testi worked from premises at 10 Leather
Lane, Holborn from c1805-30.
