19th Century inlaid mahogany Wheel Barometer
with 'break-arch' pediment over case, with “rope”
effect stringing and cross-grained edges, inlaid
with striking flower-head and flower vase paterae
and inset with well engraved silvered brass
Fahrenheit thermometer and 8-inch diameter main
dial, signed by the maker.

Based in Holborn, then later in Bloomsbury,
Ronketti produced barometers of consistently
high quality from 1790-1819.
