18th Century inlaid mahogany Wheel Barometer;
the well- proportioned case, with arched top
and cross-grained sides, chequer strung, inlaid
with stylised fan and delicate conch-shell paterae
and inset with finely engraved silvered brass
Fahrenheit thermometer and 8in. diameter barometer
dial, both elaborately decorated, and signed
by the maker.
