The trunk, edge moulded, herringbone veneered
and with “rope-effect” banding,
with exposed barometer tube terminating within
turned cistern cover.

One of the finest of the Italian immigrant barometer
makers, who was an excellent engraver and whose
dynasty continued to flourish well into the
20th Century.
