19th Century mahogany Stick Barometer, with
‘'swan-neck' pediment over signed engraved
silvered brass register plate, bearing rack-and-pinion
operated vernier. The case of ‘flame’
mahogany, edge moulded, ebony banded and inset
with detachable mercury Fahrenheit and Réaumur
thermometer; the original concealed barometer
tube terminating behind turned cistern cover.
