pediment over silvered brass register plate,
signed by the makers, and bearing manually operated
vernier slide. The trunk, edge moulded, 'herringbone'
veneered and with “rope-effect”
stringing, terminating in original turned cistern
cover, inset with ebony and ivory roundel.
