Very fine quality inlaid
mahogany Stick Barometer, with 'break-arch'
pediment over silvered brass register plate,
decorated with floral motifs, signed by the
maker, and bearing Fahrenheit thermometer and
manually operated vernier slide. The richly
patinated trunk, edge moulded, 'herringbone'
veneered and with chevron banding, terminating
in original turned cistern cover, inset with
ebony and ivory roundel.
