Good quality early 19th Century Cuban
mahogany Stick Barometer with ‘ogee' pediment
over signed, engraved silvered brass register
plate bearing rack-and-pinion operated vernier
slide and protected by glazed cover. The trunk,
edge moulded and veneered in figured mahogany
with original concealed barometer tube terminating
behind turned cistern cover.
